Some Things To Consider Before Joining A Home Business Opportunity

If you are looking for a work from home opportunity or online business, here are a few things that you will want to look into when deciding on which opportunity to join.

Start up fees
Most work from home businesses require a start up fee, there are a few companies that don't require an upfront cost to join. TriVita is a proven opportunity requires no sign up fees.

I spoke with a person I met on Myspace who was making about $10,000 per month in a work from home opportunity he was with. He told me he already quit his day job, and two people in his downline quit and left for another opportunity and pulled large legs of distributors with them.

He told me his income collapsed to virtually nothing. He had to go back to another day job.

Getting new customers will create a weekly check and also pay a higher commission rate than affiliate member orders after the first 60 days.

Taking Care Of Your Customers
What would happen if you had 300 customers? What about 1000 customers? Do you really want customers calling you to ask what's in the products or to take orders?

Let the TriVita call center take care of that and save you a ton of time. The more customers you have in your back office goup list, the more difficult this would become. What if you had 10,000 customers? Not doable.

You goal should be to build as large of a back office list as possible, this is where your income will be generated. The list will have customers and affiliate members and the larger your list the larger your income potential will be.

Go get a new customer! This is how you will make money. My personal goal is 500 frontline customers, but you will also get commissions through your downline as this is a unilevel compensation plan. I am not talking about people who want to make money, those are distributors. Only in a home based business, people think they can have a successful business with distributors as customers, this distributors only downline will eventually crumble as your foundation is weak. This is going to be one of the key differences from a TriVita business and other work from home opportunities.

Focus on building the bottom of your front line list with new customers, this is the best way to build your business in my opinion. I focus on this because I believe its important and I can see my downlines list and some people don't grow their front line group list. Their volume doesn't grow so well on a continuous basis.

Buying customers from TriVita is optional. Do not buy customers from TriVita if you can't afford to, use other methods to get customers.

Here is a scenario you may know about already or you will find about later in a unforseen way.

Many work from home entrepreneurs start building a home business and quite a few start earning a very nice income every month. Many are able to leave their jobs after their organizations grow quite large. Many of you are supplementing your income with your home business while working your day job.

Many people hope to find a "heavy hitter" for their business and some of you already have. A heavy hitter is someone who builds quite a huge down line under you, and you start generating a very comfortable income from you growing down line.

Warning
With so many work from home opportunities available, and many companies looking so hard to resist to join, you may lose your heavy hitter and large parts of your down line to another work from home company.

Why?
These distributors become frustrated or angry with rule changes or compensation changes or other changes their company makes. Your income could collapse if your heavy hitter leaves for another company and pulls a large part of their down line with them to another company.

This example is happening to a friend of mine who is with another company that I will not name. She has personally told me that she large numbers of her down line are frustrated and leaving the company and she fears her $2000 per month income will soon disappear.

I also spoke to a person on my Myspace friends list, and he told me he was making about $10,000 per month with his home business opportunity. He had two people under him who had large down lines and both left for another opportunity and pulled large parts of his down lines with them to the company they left to.

He told me his income collapsed after large parts of his down line left and his checks were down to basically nothing. He had already quit his job and had to go back and get a regular job and was very devastated.

This is why many companies don't want you with another mlm opportunity or home business opportunity while you are a distributor with their company. Some of these companies forbid you from talking to sidelines and many people are threatened with law suites from the company they once loved.

years ago, I friend of mine was trying to get me to join a company he was with and I signed him up into another large and well know work from home company when we first met. He lived in Texas and he called me from a work from booklet he received in the mail.

So after a year of my friends persistence, I joined this company just to get him out of my hair about joining his company. The company comp plan was a Binary ( not good, in my opinion, unless you are a heavy hitter), and after I started building this business, I found the major problems with a binary compensation plan.

Anyways, a top distributor in that company was crying on a conference call about a year later saying she was leaving the company she loved, for reasons she did not or could not (legal reasons) really explain.

She built extremly large groups using her center of influence and warm market. Many of her down line were very close to her and when she left for another company, huge down lines in that company followed her to the new company she joined.

What do you think happened to her sponsors commissions checks? What about her sponsors up line commissions.

Believe me, this is a common scenario with home business opportunities. I am not saying it will happen to you if you are with a company now, but it does happen more often than you would care to believe.

How to make your income go up if your down line leaves for another mlm company or work from home opportunity
Yes this is very possible! Here is how.

When most people build their work from home opportunity they promote their "business opportunity", instead of promoting their products first. It is very important to find customers who are not interested in the opportunity and just want the products.
Imagine any business with just sales people and no or very few real customers. Sounds ridiculous right?

It happens all the time in work from home opportunities.

A person joins a work from home company, then finds someone who want to supplement their income so they join up under them and gets on auto ship or starts ordering products for personal use. This creates volume but this is not a real customer. This is a distributor buying products in hopes of making money and building their business.

A customer is someone who just wants your products!

A distributor or affiliate is someone who wants to make money and build a home based business or make money.

An affiliate member/distributor and a customer are two very different things.

When you go to the grocery store and buy groceries, are you looking to sell groceries also? Of course not! You just want to buy food or other items. You are a customer of that store.

Wouldn't it be ridiculous if you went to a car lot and bought a car so you could sell cars?!!

Then you signed up your friend or someone else to buy a car so they could sell cars. This happens all the time in MLM or work from home opportunities.

Maybe one or two people you signed up to buy a car, so they could sell cars, becomes very good at it and builds a large down line of salespeople, creating a lot of sales volume.

The sales person leaves for another car lot and brings all his sales people with him to the new car lot. What would happen to your income if this sales person was in your down line? Your commission checks would be greatly affected and those checks you depend on may not be there next month or any month after.

How to get customers
I get most of my customers from the Internet using the search engines and SEO or search engine optimization. SEO are the ads you see on the left side when you do a Google search, Yahoo search or Bing search, those are not pay per click ads. If you want to learn SEO. I can teach you what I know and show you how I get customers on the Internet.

You can buy Sublingual B-12 and Nopalea customers from TriVita.
Buying customers from TriVita is completely optional and there is no requirement to buy customers. Buying customers is just another way of getting customers and you can get a lot of customers quickly with the co-operative marketing plan.

Do not spam people! I would never join or buy products from anyone who send me spam. What would they teach me...how to spam people? No thanks. Use ethical methods when promoting your TriVita business and never spam people.

Buying the lifetime rights to TriVita customers

A lot of people will like this option on how to get customers. You can buy 3 customers ( 3 customers = bundle of 3 customers) or 150 customers and become a director in TriVita fast by purchasing about 150 Nopalea customers from your TriVita backoffice.

How can buying customers work for you
If you have capital to work with, you can grow your customer list very fast and this may be another avenue you may want to pursue.

If you don't have capital to work with, I don't recommend you buy customers to start, use other methods and start finding customers other ways. What you can do is find people who have capital to build their business.

If you brought in an affiliate member and your affiliate member could afford to buy 159 customers, or even 3 bundle of customers, those customers would go into your group list and your list would grow even though you may not be able to buy customers yourself.

If you brought in 10 people who could afford to buy 159 customers, you could have at least 1600 people in you group list very fast.

Remember, buying customers is optional and just another way to get customers, only buy customers if you can afford to.

Some people spend a fortune buying leads with little or no results. Why not just buy the customers? Do you know anyone buying leads? Think about all the time it takes to call leads you purchase.

I have spoken to many people who have purchased leads and I have purchased leads in the past with other opportunities. In my opinion buying leads to try and build a home business opportunity is a complete waste of time and money.

Out of all the people I talked to who purchased leads with some type of work from home opportunity, no one except one person, told me they had any success and the one person who said he was having success buying leads, was selling the leads! Good grief!

Back Office

TriVita will not charge you a monthly back office fee or monthly affiliate website fee...very nice!!! Thank you TriVita!

Once you join TriVita, you will see your name in your back office. If you get 10 new customers, you will see your name plus 10 of your customers names. You now have a list of 10 people plus yourself.

If you get an Independent affiliate member and he/she gets 20 new customers, you now have list/genealogy of 21 new people plus the 10 there people you got. TriVita starts mailing your customers a VitaJournal and product catalog every month after they order their second TriVita product.

You basically building a list in your back office and the larger your list, the more money you stand to earn.

Auto Ship

There is no auto ship requirement in TriVita, but I am on a monthly auto ship of $40.00 or one bottle of Nopalea. I order one bottle of Nopalea on auto ship every month even though there is no auto ship requirement.

There is a requirement of 40 dollars of personal volume each month to get paid commissions each month as an Independent TriVita independent affiliate member.

40 dollars per month is a very low monthly requirement to earn commissions. Some companies require hundreds of dollars on auto ship, but not TriVita.

Here is why I do a $40.00 autoship
TriVita pays weekly and if I was not on auto ship and placed my personal 40 dollar on the third week of the month and had a commission/new customers on week 1 and 2 of the month, those commissions would go to my upline instead of me.

A 40 dollar personal volume is extremely easy! That's 1 bottle of Nopalea or 2 boxes of Sublingual B-12, anyone can do a 40 dollar personal order every month.

I do and without a doubt make that back many times over. Thank you TriVita for such a low monthly requirement.

Do You know how much money you would have to put out every month with a traditional business or other type of home business, way more than $40.00.

The only ways this should be a problem for you is if you don't grow your TriVita business. Are you going to grow your back office list? Yes! Then No problem for you doing a $40.00 personal order every month.

If you don't plan on growing you genealogy list, then you can at least take the products and feel a difference.

Attrition Rate

My TriVita business has a very low attrition rate and here is why. Most of the people on my back office list are customers and not affiliate members. Most people on my list, just want the TriVita products an have no interest in the TriVita opportunity.

It's very important to any business to have customers! Try to imagine any company with all sales people and no real customers, that's how many home business opportunities down lines are build. The salesperson is the customers in many work from home opportunities, this is a very shaky foundation to build any business on.

In many other type of home business opportunities, people join a program or opportunity in hopes of getting rich.

They join opportunities or other types of home business programs to make money and quite a few companies have some really good products. After a couple of months, when they new distributor is not making money they quit and you are looking to replace the people who left.

Another scenario is you get a "heavy hitter" and he or she builds a large downline and you start making some nice chunks of change every month.

The "heavy hitter leaves for another company and pulls a large part of their downline to another company and your monthly checks almost disappear. I met a gentleman with another home business opportunity and he told me this happened to him.

He told me he was making over five figures a month with another opportunity and two people in his down line left for another company and pulled a large part of his down line with them.

He also told me he already quit his job, and his commissions checks went down to basically zero, this was devastating for him and he had to go back to a traditional job after he already quit his job.

Here is why this will not likely happen with my or other TriVita businesses.

I have over 350 front line customers in my TriVita business and many more in my total group list. If I quit, I can't take those customers with me, most of them I have never even spoken to.

TriVita keeps sending them brochures and cataloges, even if I quit.

If I quit my customers would roll up to my up line and his income would not collapse, it would actually go up!!!

He would have an additional 350 front line customers that he would earn 21% commission on instead of a 4% commission, his income would not collapse, but instead go up.

If you have experience with other home business opportunities, this example of attrition (people quitting) should really peak your interest. Have you every built a large down line with other opportunities and have little or nothing to show for your hard work? I have, and this will not happen with my TriVita business.

How will you build your business?
Getting new customers is my primiary goal, I want to see the bottom of my front line customer list in my backoffice grow every month, actually everyday.

If you have money and can afford to buy the rights to customers you are probably going to build your business differently than if you can't afford to buy the rights to customers.

If you want to buy customers or if you want to use other methods to get customers, that's fine. I get a stredy stream of new customers from the Internet and search engines.

If you want to learn how to get customers from the Internet, I can teach you. The search engines may be a great option for you to get customers, but it takes a lot of work.

Call Center
TriVita has a call center that will take customer orders, and answer questions for customers and affiliate members. The call center will free up a tremendous amount of time for you.

I don't really want to personally take customer orders, let the call center handle that. If you had 1,000 people on your group list it would be very time consuming, what about a list of 10,000 people?

When I get a new customer from the Internet, it's rare that I talk to them. The either go to my affiliate site and order or call TriVita. I will see a new customer show up on the bottom of my front line customer list in my TriVita back office.

The commissions are paid weekly with a TriVita debit card or with a direct deposit into your account.

I just had a customer call me after he ordered through the TriVita call center, but I believe that is the only time that has happened. He was very pleasant and I enjoyed our conversation very much.

If you were going to mail all your customers a product catalog and VitaJournal every month, it could add up, especially if you have a large group list.

Order two products and get the VitaJournal and product in the mail every month. This is a great way to see what TriVita will send your customers if you want to becoma an Independent TriVita affiliate member.

Attrition rate
I have tried other opportunities and the attrition rate was very high. People quit becasue most are distributors and they never really get customers, only other distributors. New customers are going to be very important to your business.

Every distributor should have a minimum of 100 front line "real customers" in my opinion, I have a goal to get 500 front line customers. A distributor is not the kind of customer I am talking about. A customer is someone who just wants your products, they are not interested in the business opportunity.

Lets pretend all my affiliate members quit, my TriVita income would not collapse on me. Hypothetically, if another affiliate member pulls all my affiliate members to another company, TriVita still markets to my customers!

Also the customers who are under my affiliate members who left would roll up to me, and I would earn a higher percentage commission if my affiliate members left. My income would actually go up instead of collapsing.

My percentage of affiliate members who have quit is very low. Why would they quit, especially if the have customers under them.

I was with another opportunity yers ago and one man dropped $18,000 into that business and ended up quitting. I also moved over $15,000 in products through a family who owned a Thai restaurant.

They all enden up quitting and I have nothing to show for all that work I did, I signed up a lot of other people and got many customers, nothing to show for that effort today. What a shame.
